Slitter

Description

The Slitter is a unique safety knife. Most spring models are equipped with a trapezoidal blade. The blade on the Slitter is longer. The 40 mm extension allows for the cutting of thicker materials. The handle is metal and additionally rubberised, so it is resistant to damage and provides a firm grip. The blades can be exchanged without any additional tools. The eyelet on the back allows you to hang it on a lanyard, it will always be close at hand. The knife is designed for right- and left-handed users.

Application
The slitter is designed for heavy-duty work. It is recommended for warehouse and production work, where safety and high quality of used tools is important. The 40 mm long blade extends to cut the thickest packaging materials. You can cut with it:
– thick cardboard boxes
– paper
– rolled materials
– stretch foils
– banding tapes
– shrink films
– adhesive tapes
– foil and paper sacks
– foams up to 40 mm thick

Tips
For added safety, take your thumb off the slider while cutting so that the spring mechanism can operate and retract the blade back into the handle when the cut is complete.
