Slitter Light

Description

Slitter Light is a lighter version of the Slitter knife. The aluminium housing with additional rubber coating is light and handy. Handle is slimmer than in the Slitter. The knife has a single spring system. Release the slide and the blade automatically returns to the handle. It is designed for cutting thick materials. This is evidenced by the extension of the blade to a length of 42 mm. They can be replaced without any additional tools. Eyelet for a lanyard is located at the back of the handle. The knife is for right- and left-handed users.

Application
The slitter is designed for heavy-duty work. It is recommended for warehouse and production work, where safety and high quality of used tools is important. Extension of the blade to a length of 42 mm makes it possible to cut the thickest packaging materials. You can cut with it:
– thick cardboard boxes
– paper
– rolled materials
– stretch films
– banding tapes
– shrink films
– adhesive tapes
– foil and paper sacks
– foams up to 40 mm thick

Tips
For added safety, take your thumb off the slider while cutting so that the spring mechanism can operate and retract the blade back into the handle when the cut is complete.
